BIO

After earning a bachelor's degree in physics in 2005, he decided to devote himself completely to music.
He studied at the Francesco Morlacchi Conservatory of Perugia guided by Maestro Daniele Roccato for three years, after which he decided to turn his attention totally to jazz and improvisational music.

During this period he had an intense concert activity in ensembles such as the Terni Jazz Orchestra and Tetraphonic Project, performing in festivals such as Grey Cat Jazz Festival, Terni in Jazz, Summertime (Casa del Jazz), Gezziamoci a Matera, Villa Celimontana Jazz Festival alongside musicians such as Michael Rosen and Maurizio Giammarco.

In 2014 he began his studies at Siena Jazz University with masters Silvia Bolognesi and Ferruccio Spinetti where he obtained a first level diploma in jazz double bass with a grade of 110/110 in 2018.
In addition to the double bass course, he finds great stimulation and inspiration in improvisation courses taught by Stefano Battaglia and ensemble music courses taught by Maurizio Giammarco, Achille Succi, Alfonso Santimone and

During this period he follows the "Siena Jazz International Summer Workshops" in the 2015, 2016 and 2017 editions also thanks to the esteem that the Association reposes by offering him two workshops free of charge. In this context, he has the opportunity to compare and play live with many national and international artists such as Gilad Hekselman, Marcus Gilmore, Matt Mitchell, Kenny Werner, Franco De Andrea, Paolino Dalla Porta, Furio Di Castri, Walter Smith III, Shane Endsley and Lage Lund.

Also during this period, he was chosen among the most valuable musicians to represent the institute in various European events along with the school's faculty.
In August 2017 with the group "Krak's Action" he collaborates with David Krakauer as part of the Chigiana International Festival organized by the Accademia Chigiana as accompanying maestro. At this stage of his career, important partnerships and collaborations for his artistic journey begin.
The sextet The Sycamore was founded, in which talented Umbrian musicians (Leonardo Radicchi, Lorenzo Bisogno, Lorenzo Brilli, Alessio Capobianco, Andrea Angeloni and Ruggero Fornari) played and wrote music together, and collaborations with Manuel Magrini, Evita Polidoro, Mirco Rubegni, Cristiano Arcelli, Francesco Panconesi and Luca Sguera were tightened.

He had the opportunity to perform both in international venues such as the Budapest Music Center, the Institute of Italian Culture in Paris, the Amsterdam Conservatory and the Aaron Copland Music School in New York and in numerous contexts of the Italian jazz scene.
In 2017 he participated as a finalist in the Conad Jazz Contest during the Umbria Jazz Festival with the band "The Sycamore."

In 2019, the album "Seamless" by The Sycamore collective is released by Emme Record Label.
In 2019, he enrolled in Siena Jazz University's second-level Jazz Double Bass course. In this two- year course he had the opportunity to study with double bass teachers Demian Cabaud and Joe Sanders.

Some of the other teachers with whom he was able to study and/or perform live in this context include Greg Hutchinson, Jonathan Avishai, Jim Black, Ziv Ravitz, Fabrizio Puglisi, Seamus Blake and Logan Richardson.
In 2020 he wins the "A.I.R." call for proposals issued by Midj (Italian Jazz Musicians Association) consisting of an artistic residency in Portugal that will materialize in 2022.
In the summer of 2021 he records the album "When the World Stops Crying" by Leonardo Pruneti, to be released in November 2021 by Wow Records.
In November 2021 he earned the second-level jazz double bass degree from Siena Jazz University with a grade of 110/110 "cum laude".
In December 2021 his first bandleader record titled "Underneath" is released by Encore Music.

In October 2022 he could spend his artistic residency in Lisbon, recording the music for his Italian/Portuguese band "Trinta”, that's been just released by Encore Music.
